Both RC-1800F and RC-1800T have basically same MF/HF system configuration and
INMARSAT-C system configuration. However, the different MF/HF transceiver is used
according to the transmitting power. The output power of FS-1562-15/1562-25/2550 is
150/250W while that of FS-5000 is 400W.
2.1 MF/HF (150/250W) system
The standard configuration is shown in Fig. 2.1.1. The transceiver is operated through
DSC-60. When optional DSC general watch keeping receiver board (05P0703) is built
in DSC-60, an antenna exclusive for receiving DSC signal is required.
When DMC-5 or IC-302-DSC is connected to DSC-60, the DIP-switch setting on
DSC-60 must be changed.
