2) Checking BFO frequency
The BFO frequency is set to “1700 Hz”. Otherwise, it is not possible to receive DSC or
NBDP.
Setting procedure:
1. Press [STO] and [BFO] keys.
2. Then, the BFO frequency is displayed. Confirm that the frequency is “1700 Hz”.
3. If the displayed frequency is not 1700 Hz, press [STO] and [BFO] keys, enter 1700,
and press [ENT] key.
3) Registering user’s channels
400 channels can be registered with channel numbers from 1 to 8999.
Setting procedure:
1. Set the transmission/reception frequencies, emission mode, and bandwidth to be
registered.
2. Press [STO] key, enter the channel number, and press [ENT] key twice.
3. To write other channels, repeat steps 1 and 2.
Deleting registered channels:
1. Press [STO] key, enter the channel number to be deleted, and press [ENT], [0], and
[ENT] keys.
2. When deleting other channels, repeat step 1.
Note)
1) To delete all the registered channels, select the system setting channel
“9997”, and enter “1”.
2) To check the content of the registered channel, press [RCL] key, enter
9998, and press [ENT] key. Then, every time [ENT] key is pressed, the
content of each channel can be checked in series.
