2) Registering user’s channels
It is possible to register up to 200 channels. On FS-1562, 1 to 200 channels, and on
FS-2550, 10 channels in the band from 0 to 3 MHz and 20 channels in the band from 4
to 25 MHz can be registered respectively.
For each channel the frequencies for both R (Reception) and T (Transmission) are
registered.
Procedure of the registration:
1. Referring to “1) Changing system setting”, set system channel “9998” to “0”.
2. Select the channel to program in by turning [FREQ/CH] knob. For example, select R
(Reception) of channel 1.
3. Press [MODE] key to select an emission mode.
4. FS-1562 : Press [RCL] key, enter “Reception frequency”, and press [ENT] key.
FS-2550 : Press [FREQ] key, enter “Reception frequency”, and press [ENT] key.
5. Turn [FREQ/CH] knob one turn clockwise to choose T (Transmission) of the same
channel.
6. FS-1562 : Press [RCL] key, enter “Transmission frequency”, and press [ENT] key.
FS-2550 : Press [FREQ] key, enter “Transmission frequency”, and press [ENT] key.
For simplex , press [ENT] key without entering transmission frequency.
7. To program the other channels, repeat steps 2 to 6.
8. After the program-in, set system channel “9998” to “1”, and turn off power.
Deleting registered channels:
1. Select the channel to be deleted in step 2 of the above procedure. For example, select
R (Reception) of channel 1.
2. FS-1562 : Press [RCL] key, enter “0”, and press [ENT] key.
FS-2550 : Press [FREQ] key, enter “0”, and press [ENT] key.
3. Turn [FREQ/CH] knob one turn clockwise to choose T (Transmission) of the same
channel.
4. FS-1562 : Press [RCL] key, enter “0”, and press [ENT] key.
FS-2550 : Press [FREQ] key, enter “0”, and press [ENT] key.
5. To delete the other channels, repeat steps 1 to 4.
Note) When deleting all the registered user’s channels, select “9901” of the
system channel, and enter “1” , and press [ENT] key.
