Note 1. Model FVP110 Advanced Valve Positioner with optional code /CF1 are
applicable for use in hazardous locations:

❑ Certificate: 1186507
❑ Explosionproof for Class I, Groups B, C and D; Class II, Groups E, F and G; Class
III.
❑ Enclosure Rating: Type 4X
❑ Temperature Code: T6 and T5
❑ Ambient Temperature: –40 to 75 °C for T6, –40 to 82 °C for T5
Note 2. Wiring
❑ All wiring shall comply with National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA 70 and Local
Electrical Codes.
❑ FACTORY SEALED, CONDUIT SEAL NOT REQUIRED.
❑ When the ambient temperature is 60 °C or more, use an external cable having a
maximum allowable heat resistance of at least 90 °C.
Note 3. Maintenance and Repair
❑ The instrument modification or parts replacement by other than authorized
representative of GE Masoneilan is prohibited and will void CSA Certification.
