CHAPTER 11: INTRODUCING THE D400 FEATURES
Retrieve system logs
The D400 can be configured to retrieve system logs from an IED or any substation
equipment that can support the syslog remote logging feature. The D400 supports both
TCP- and UDP-based remote connections to the IEDs on the standard port numbers. All of
the logs received are saved in a default file under a set path. The current version is
configured to conform to RFC5424 standard.
Browse files and folders from a local USB
With a USB key connected to a D400 front USB ports you can browse files and folders in
the user folder and datalog folder, and copy selected files from the user folder and the
datalog folder to the USB key.
