Chapter 5 FUNCTION SETTINGS AND OPERATIONS

Enabling or Disabling Tool Up Movement [Default setting: DISABLED]
When the plotter receives commands that specify consecutive tool movements in raised status, this function
determineswhethertomovethetooltoeachcoordinatepointortomovethetooldirectlytothenalcoordinatepoint.
When ENABLED is selected, the tool moves to each coordinate point in sequence.
WhenDISABLEDisselected,thetoolmovesdirectlytothenalcoordinatepoint.

Setting the PAUSE Function Display [Default setting: MENU]
This function determines what will be displayed on the LCD when the
[PAUSE] key
is pressed during a cutting or
plotting operation.
When HOLDING is selected, the cutting or plotting operation is paused and a CONTINUE/QUIT selection menu is
displayed.
When MENU is selected, the cutting or plotting operation is paused and the PAUSE menu is displayed.

Enabling or Disabling the Beeper [Default setting: ENABLED]
This function determines whether or not the beeper sounds each time a key on the control panel is pressed.
When ENABLED is selected, the beeper sounds
When DISABLED is selected, the beeper doesn't sound.

Enabling or Disabling the [ENTER] Key when a Tool Exchange Command is Received
[Default setting: DISABLED]
This function determines whether or not to use the
[ENTER] key
when a tool exchange command is received.
When ENABLED is selected, a tool exchange operation is not performed until the
[ENTER] key
is pressed. Select
this setting when you only want to use tool holder 1.
When DISABLED is selected, a tool exchange operation is performed automatically.

Circle Command Resolution Setting [Default setting: DEFAULT]
When the HP-GL command mode is selected, this function determines whether the resolution is automatically set or
