Error Messages and Their Causes
Error Messages with their Possible Causes and Probable Solution.
OVER CURRENT
POWER OFF THEN ON
• • The beeper sounds
SPEED ALARM

Cause Solution
Excessive load is causing
the current to the motor to
exceed the rated value
• Cutting conditions do
not suit the cutting
media
⇒ Lower the cutting
SPEED and/or the
cutting FORCE
• Movement of the pen
carriage is being
obstructed
⇒ Turn off the plotter,
remove the obstacle,
then turn the plotter
back on.
• The pen carriage was
subjected to external
pressure during cutting
⇒ Turn off the plotter,
remove the obstacle,
then turn the plotter
back on.
• Media scraps stuck in
moving parts and
impeding plotter
operation
⇒ Turn off the plotter,
remove the media
scraps, then turn the
plotter back on
• Abnormal acceleration
rate table

Cause Solution
• Immediately after
turning on the plotter,
excessive force was
used to manually move
the pen carriage
⇒ Turn the plotter off then
back on again
• Internal speed control is
faulty
⇒ Turn the plotter off then
back on again
