Configure Network Configuration page - K2 client
This page congures both control and media (iSCSI) network connections.
The K2 client actually has four Gigabit Ethernet ports, but two ports are congured as a teamed
pair (the control team), while the other two ports (the media connections) are individual. The teamed
pair shares an IP address and appears on this page as a single port.
1. Verify that the top port is congured correctly.
The top port is the port over which the K2Cong application is communicating. If correctly
congured, it is already assigned the control network IP address, as displayed on this page.
2. Select Media Connection #1 and then click Modify.
A network conguration dialog box opens.
3. Verify or congure Media Connection #1 as follows:
If a basic (non-redundant) K2 SAN, verify or enter the media network IP address. Also enter
the subnet mask.
If a redundant K2 SAN, verify or enter an IP address for the A media (iSCSI) network.
Also enter the subnet mask.
4. Do one of the following:
If a basic (non-redundant) K2 SAN, skip to the last step in this procedure. Do not congure
Media Connection #2.
If a redundant K2 SAN, proceed with the next step and congure Media Connection #2.
5. Select Media Connection #2 and then click Modify.
A network conguration dialog box opens.
