Section 8
M06
Validation %
The analyzer failed to verify that the sample connected to
the standard port was within the % of the user specified
validation standard. A calibration may follow this failure.
See section 5.2.2.2 on page 68.
1. Check the standard is the correct mg/L.
2. Recalibrate the analyzer.
3. Increase the validation %.
4. Verify the user entered standard concentration.
M07
Calibration failure
The current calibration deviates from the primary
calibration by greater than the Fault % Primary entry in
the Setup/ Tolerance/Fault % Primary Screen. See
section 5.2.8.4 on page 84.
1. Replace peristaltic pump tubing and perform a
primary calibration.
2. Edit the entry in the Setup/Tolerance/Fault % Pri
Screen.
M08
Reactor Flow
The pressure in the UV reactor has exceeded the user
specified value in Maintenance Pressure Threshold
Setup/Tolerances.
The reactor flow is being restricted. Locate and remove
the cause of the restriction. Possible causes are:
1. UV manifold crystal buildup in the UV block. Clean
the UV manifold.
2. Blocked UV reactor. Disassemble the reactor and
flush with water. If the blockage is not removed with
flushing, contact technical support.
M091
Low reagents
One of the inputs to the analyzer has detected a
low level.
1. Refill the bottles.
2. Verify jumper settings
M10*
Low cell temperature
1. Cell heater plug not connected to 8001 I/O PCB
assembly.
2. Cell heater faulty.
1. Connect IR cell heater. Determine of IR cell is warm
to the touch.
2. If LED is cycling on and off, replace the cell heater.
3. If erratic cell temperature is experienced, stop the
analyzer. If the cell temperature subsequently
becomes stable, then it is likely that either a UV
power supply or a UV lamp is defective, causing high
EMI to affect the temperature reading.
M11
Spill detection
The TOC reading has achieved a % level of range in
excess of the Spill Threshold %, and the analyzer has
gone into a clean cycle for the spill recovery time.
See section 5.2.2.3 on page 68.
1. To disable this feature raise the spill threshold
percent.
