8.6.2 Valve Test
These menus allow activation and deactivation of the streams, clean, and
the calibration valves. The standard analyzer does not have a connection to
V4 terminals.
Danger: Remove power to the
analyzer if any electrical work is
to be performed. See Safety Note
11 on page 185 for Spanish,
French, German, or Italian
translations.
1. Enter the Valve test menu from the Relay test menu by pressing the
UP button.
2. Press ENTER.
3. When prompted, enter the passcode (1953) and press ENTER again.
The Online valve V1 status screen is displayed.
In normal operation, as a power
saving feature, the stream valve V4
will be temporarily disabled when V1
is switched on.
4. Press ENTER to toggle between ON/OFF status. The displayed selection
is saved when you exit the screen.
Each time the UP button is pressed, the Clean valve V2, STD valve V3,
and Valve V4 screens are displayed in succession. Toggle on or off as
described above.
8.6.3 Input Status
The Input Status menus allow the level of the logical input to be measured and
allow the action of the input to be enabled and disabled as far as the events
are concerned. The actual logical input levels (HI and LO) are not significant
as long as they change when the actuator state is changed. If an input is
disabled, it will not cause an event warning or fault to occur. Enter the Input
status menus from the Valve test menus by pressing the UP button.
5. Press the UP or DOWN button. When prompted, enter the passcode then
press ENTER again.
