placed in memory.
5.2.10 Analyzer Screen
The Analyzer screen permits you to select the model analyzer you have.
The analyzer number corresponds with the instrument's analysis range.
Before changing an analyzer model, record the Zero and Span counts for
Analog Channels CH1 and CH2. Access these menus in the Service/Output
adjust submenus, see Section 8 on page 129.
Selecting a new configuration
will force a reset of the
analyzer software, and will overwrite
the calibrations with default
calibrations and setup parameters.
1. To enter the Analyzer screen, press the UP button while in the Language
screen. The Analyzer screen is displayed.
2. The analyzer will prompt for the passcode twice before changing the
analyzer model in this screen. See section 6.8.1 on page 95 for passcode
information.
3. To change the analyzer model number, press ENTER. Asterisks flash on
either side of the model designation. Press the UP or DOWN buttons to
scroll through the various model numbers.
4. When your analyzer model is displayed, press ENTER. This places your
selection in nonvolatile storage, and will reboot and load the default
settings for the selected analyzer.
5. Reenter the CH1 and CH2 Zero and Span settings in Service/Output
adjust.
6. Press CTRL then ENTER to return to the Setup Menu.
In most situations, when a different analyzer is selected it will be necessary to
reconfigure hardware. See section 5.3 on page 88.
5.2.11 EPA Main Operating Screen
A dual stream analyzer hardware
configuration is required for EPA
operation.
In EPA mode the screen cycles between EPA Setup, Retention Time, and
Alkalinity. The screen relating to the stream currently selected is held for
6 seconds, while the other two screens are held for 3 seconds. The screen
relating to the unselected stream displays the time the unselected stream
was last measured.
See Appendix D on page 165 for additional manual control screens.
5.2.11.1 EPA Setup Screen
The selection of the EPA application will enable the EPA setup menu option,
positioned below the Manual control screen. Two user entry screens are
available to input the Retention Time in hours and minutes, and Alkalinity
concentration in mg/L.
