4.2.2 Run a Validation
1. Restart the analyzer and close the doors. Allow the analyzer to warm for
one hour.
2. Place the calibration tube into the calibration standard solution and run
Validation. The reported mg/L concentration reading should be
within ±2% of the calibration solution value.
3. If the concentration reading is correct, the analyzer can be put on-line.
4. Connect the sample line to the sample source. Set-up the local parameter
settings such as Auto-Cal, Auto-Clean, Relays, Analog outputs, etc.
5. If the concentration reading is not correct continue to Section 4.3.
4.3 Analyzer Adjustments
1. Place the zero line into the DI water, place the stream line and calibration
line into calibration standard.
2. Verify that the Flow Meter is indicating the approximate correct flow. This
reading is range dependant. Refer to Table 9 for the correct value.
3. Press the UP key twice from the main screen to view the CO
2
ppm gas
reading, then press ENTER to lock the screen.
