1. Remove the blood pump before removing DPM.
1. Disconnect the applicable connector for the DPM and SPM from the top
deck distribution PCB.
2. Remove the ground wire from the SPM/DPM detector assembly.
3. Remove the (2) nuts securing the SPM/DPM detector assembly to the
top deck.
4. Pull the SPM/DPM detector assembly out of the top deck.
5. With or without first removing the SPM/DPM detector assembly from the
top deck, remove the (2) Phillips head screws securing the SPM/DPM
detector PCB to the SPM/DPM detector assembly.
6. Gently twist and pull the SPM/DPM detector PCB from the SPM/DPM
pressure fitting.
7. We do not advise further disassembly of the SPM/DPM detector
assembly.
