5.10.2.1 AC OK Set Point
The AC OK set point is adjusted with R122 and measured at TP31. The voltage at this
test point is determined by calculating a ratio of the DC voltage at TP33 (the actual AC
voltage sample) to the measured AC line voltage and multiplying that ratio by the AC
mains voltage at which the transmitter can again turn on (95V).
The voltage to be adjusted at TP31 is calculated by this formula:
Vdc@TP31 = 95VAC x (VDC TP33 / measured AC line voltage).
Example: With a measured AC line voltage of 110 VAC and TP33 measuring 8 Vdc,
adjust the voltage TP31 to be 6.91Vdc. (95 x (8 / 110) = 6.91Vdc).
5.10.2.2 AC FAIL Set Point
The AC FAIL set point is adjusted using R121 and measured at TP30 in the same way
as the AC OK set point. This AC FAIL line voltage trip should be set so the transmitter
shuts off at 90VAC.
The voltage to be adjusted at TP30 is calculated by this formula:
Vdc@TP30 = 90VAC x (VDC TP33 / measured AC line voltage).
Example: With a measured AC line voltage of 110VAC and Tp33 measuring 8VDC,
adjust the voltage at TP30 to be 6.55Vdc. (90 x (8 / 110) = 6.55Vdc).
