2.10.1 Transmitter Control Functions, J1
All control inputs use opto-isolators for surge protection. The opto-isolators can be
powered by an internal +15Vdc which is considered "Half Isolation" or can be powered
by an external customer supplied source from 10 to 24Vdc which is considered "Full
Isolation". Full or half isolation is selected by jumper JP1 on the component side (front)
of the System I/O Board in the rear of the Control Cabinet.
• Half Isolation - JP1 Pins 1-2
• Full Isolation - JP1 pins 2-3
All transmitter control functions are ground switching and require the remote control
equipment to sink at least 15mA to activate the function. The Pinout of J1 is listed in
Table 2-2.
