Section 1 Introduction
1.2 General Description
This section contains a general description of the Diamond CD™ series television
transmitters. Included in this section will be descriptions of the Control cabinet, Power
Amplifier cabinet, block diagrams of the different models and system specifications.
The Diamond HD™ series DTV transmitter consists of two or more discrete functional
cabinets. The minimum transmitter configuration consists of one system control cabinet
and one power amplifier cabinet. See Figure 1-1. Larger versions consist of a single
control cabinet and up to five PA cabinets.
