The pulses from Z101 are fed to a driver U101 which drives both the drive
transformer(T102) in the master board and the slave board.
An option hybrid Z102 is configured to allow the output to be inhibited by external signal
provided by the customer on the DB25 pin option connector.
As can be seen from the block diagram the fan is powered by both flyback house
keeping power supplies, one on each of the boards, the master and the slave.
The duty cycle of the boost converter and the full bridge converter are set by the control
hybrids on the master board. Both the master and the slave boards have the same
regulation ratios and therefore provide the same impedance to the AC line so when they
are placed in series , each board will see half the input voltage across its input
terminals. When in parallel they will supply equal amounts of current to the output, there
by processing equal amounts of power.
