Test Procedure:
1. Apply AC slowly using the variac till input voltage reaches 240V.
2. Check if the fan is running.
If yes, go to step 3 If no, go to section 10 to check and replace input fuses
If problem persist, go to section 13
3. Check if the fan is making unusual noise or is noisy.
If yes, turn off AC Input. If no, go to step 4
Check if the fan blades are
obstructed by anthing and
that they are running free. If
OK, apply AC input and go
to step 4. If still noisy, go to
section 11 to replace the fan
assembly.
If the problem persist go to
section 13
4. Apply 10A load to DC output using an Electronic or Resistive load.
5. Check the DC voltmeter for output voltage. If zero, then apply 7.5VDC using
an external DC source between pin 8 (+) and pin 9 (-) on the DB25 option
connector. Verify that the output is enabled and the fan is on. If the output is
enabled the DC voltmeter should read 32V. If not enabled and there is no
output voltage then the unit failed the bench test. Stop test and go to section
13.
6. Remove the voltage between pin 8 (+) and pin 9 (-) on the DB25. Verify that
the output is disabled and the fan remains on. If disabled then the unit passed
the bench test. If it remains enabled, the unit failed the bench test. Stop test
and go to section 13.
