In a multiple set consisting solely of
Secondary Docking Stations, each Docking
Station(1) must, for data communication, be
connected separately to a USB port(4) on
the PC hosting the DMS Software(5). If the
PC doesn’t have enough USB ports, a USB
hub can be used.
Only electrical power can be transferred
between Docking Stations in this
configuration.
A secondary Docking Station cannot be
directly connected to a LAN.
Analyzers in a multiple set consisting solely
of Secondary Docking Stations
communicate with the DMS Software
according to FIGURE 8-6.
