12) Remove the valve spring retainer, valve spring, valve, valve
stem seal and the valve spring seat from the cylinder head.
Check the valve for chipping and excessive carbon
deposits. Clean the valve if necessary.
Replace the valve stem seal with a new one on reassembly.
