11. EXTENSION CASE/LOWER RUBBER MOUNT
a. DISASSEMBLY
Remove the following parts.
- Engine cover (P. 4-2)
- Gear case assembly/extension separator [Semi-long/extra-long shaft types only] (P. 11-3)
1) Remove the six 8 x 15 mm rivet screws, 5 x 45 mm screw, 5 x 30 mm screw, 5 x 7 x 38 mm distance collar, 5 x 7 x
23 mm distance collar, two 5 mm washers and the two 5 mm plate nuts. Remove the under cover from the extension
case.
2) Remove the 6 x 35 mm special screw, and remove the drain plug cover and the 6 x 10.5 x 25 mm distance collar from
the extension case.
