4. PROPELLER SHAFT/PROPELLER
SHAFT HOLDER
a. DISASSEMBLY
Remove the following parts.
- Propeller (P. 11-2)
- Propeller shaft holder assembly (P. 11-7)
1) Remove the shift slider, #11 steel ball, propeller shaft
assembly, 22 mm washer and the 69 x 3.1 mm O-ring.
Replace the O-ring with a new one.
2) Before removing the 22 x 35 x 7 mm water seal, check the
water seal lip for cuts and damage and replace it with a
new one if necessary.
3) Remove the two 22 x 35 x 7 mm water seals from the
propeller shaft holder.
Replace the water seals with new ones.
4) Remove the cross pin ring and the 6.3 x 33 mm shifter pin,
then remove the clutch shifter.
5) Remove the shifter pin holder and the shift spring from the
propeller shaft.
