12. OIL CASE
a. REMOVAL
- Engine cover (P. 4-2)
- Gear case assembly/extension separator [Semi-long/extra-long shaft types only] (P. 11-3)
- Extension case/lower rubber mount (P. 11-48)
1) Drain the engine oil from the oil case (P. 3-4)
2) Remove the two 8 x 25 mm flange bolts, and remove the exhaust pipe and exhaust pipe gasket.
3) Disconnect the water tube from the oil case, and remove the water tube grommet from the oil case.
4) Remove the eleven 6 x 25 mm flange bolts, and remove the oil case from the primary gear case.
