• CYLINDER BLOCK SURFACE WARPAGE
1) Take care not to damage (score, scratch, etc.) the mating
surface with the cylinder head gasket.
2) Measure the surface warpage using a straight edge and a
feeler gauge as shown.
Standard Service limit
Less than 0.05 mm 0.10 mm min.
(0.002 in) (0.004 in)
3) If the measurement exceeds the service limit, replace the
cylinder block with a new one.
