The main bearings are available in the seven I.D. colors (Blue,
Black, Brown, Green, Yellow, Pink and Red in this order) at
intervals of 0.003 mm (0.0001 in) in tolerance.
4) The oil clearance includes the enlargement amount of the
housing caused by crash.
Select the bearings so the oil clearance is 0.028

mm (0.0011
- 0.0015 in).
5) Align the projection on the bearing with the cutout in the
connecting rod and in the connecting rod cap. Install the
bearing with care not to damage the sliding surface.
6) Check the main bearing oil clearance after installing the
selected bearing (P. 10-14).
