10) Remove the ten 8 x 35 mm hex bolt and remove the
extension case from the outboard motor.
Remove the two 6 x 10 mm dowel pins.
• Take care not to drop the extension case.
11) Remove the under cover rubber, extension case grommet
and the drain plug rubber from the extension case.
12) Remove the 6 x 8 mm screw and remove the 116 mm lead
wire.
8) Remove the two 6 x 20 mm flange bolts, and remove the
exhaust pipe grommet holder assembly from the exhaust
pipe [Long/semi-long/extra-long shaft types only].
9) Remove the exhaust pipe grommet from the exhaust pipe
grommet holder [Long/semi-long/extra-long shaft types
only].
