9) Remove the tilting bolt cap and the 7/8-14 UNF self-locking
nut that are on the L. stern bracket side.
Replace the 7/8-14 UNF self-locking nut with a new one on
reassembly.

10) Remove the 10 mm self-locking nut, and remove the 10 mm
washer and the 10 x 158 mm hex bolt.
Replace the 10 mm self-locking nut with a new one on
reassembly.

11) Remove the two 10 mm E-rings, and remove the upper
cylinder pin.
12) Remove the two upper cylinder bushings from the piston
rod.
Check the upper cylinder bushings for wear, damage or
deformation, and replace them with new ones if necessary.
