[GAS ASSISTED TYPE]
Remove the following parts.
- Engine assembly (P. 6-2)
- Engine under case (P. 12-4)
- Mount case (P. 13-2)
1) Move the tilt lever to the "FREE" position, and raise the
swivel case assembly to the uppermost position (the piston
rod of the gas assisted damper assembly is extended fully).
2) After raising the swivel case assembly to the uppermost
position, move the gas assisted lever to the "LOCK"
position.

116 mm LEAD WIRE
3) Remove the 6 x 8 mm screw.
4) Remove the two 6 x 23 mm flange bolts. Disconnect the 116
mm lead wire and remove the anode metal.
Check the anode metal and replace it with a new one if it is
corroded excessively.
