35) Install the alternator rotor on the crankshaft, and loosely
tighten the 24 mm special nut.
• Note that the alternator rotor has very strong magnetic
force. Do not hold the alternator rotor by the ring gear but
hold it by the recoil starter rope winding area not to pinch
your fingers with the rotor.
37) Install the timing belt tensioner cap on the timing belt
tensioner.
38) Install the engine hanger on the cylinder block and tighten
the two 8 x 18 mm flange bolts securely.
39) Perform timing belt tension adjustment (P. 3-24).
40) Install the following parts.
- Electric part cover (P. 18-19)
- Alternator cover (P. 7-2)
- Engine cover (P. 4-2)
36) Tighten the 24 mm special nut to the specified torque using
the special tool as shown.

TORQUE: 300 N
