5) Remove the two 6 x 20 mm flange bolts, and remove the thermostat cover, thermostat cover gasket and the
thermostat from the cylinder block.
Replace the gasket with a new one on reassembly.
Check the thermostat and replace it with a new one if necessary (P. 8-4).
6) Remove the seven 6 x 22 mm flange bolts, and remove the water jacket cover and the water jacket cover gasket from
the cylinder block.
Replace the gasket with a new one on reassembly.
7) Remove the 6 x 18 mm screw, and remove the anode metal from the cylinder block.
Check the anode metal for corrosion, and replace it with a new one if it is corroded excessively.
