1. AIR SYSTEM
The carb ur etor used is a down draft type w hi ch
draw s the air into the carb ur eto r from the top, hence-
forth the name. The a ir from the air cl ea n er which
enters
from the inl et ope ning G), pass es by the thr ottle
valve ® and is drawn into the engine after pa ssing
through
the ve nturi. The power ouiput is determined
by the vo lu me of air flow which is co ntrolled by the
movement
of the thr o ttle va l ve ® to vary the ope ni ng

FUEL SYSTEM
a. Main system
The fuel enter s through the main jet @, and in
the main jet, it mi xe s with the air in the air bl eed
@ after having be en me tere d by the air jet @. The-
fuel and air mi xture pa sses thr ough the open ing

tw een the n ee dl e jet ® and jet nee dle @ to be
spr
ayed at the thro ttl e va lve ®. The spray mi xes
with the main in co ming air and b eco m es atomized
