by, red ucing friction and prevent ing wear. It also

to coo l the parts from the heat pr oduced by
fr icti on .
Fu rther, the l ub ricant penetra t es between the pisto n
and cy linder to for m an o il film whi ch act as a seal
to maintain the
cy linder pre ss u re.

2. ENGINE OIL CHANGE
Change· oil at 300 km ( 1 85 mil dr iving and at
eve ry 1 000 km 1620 mil there after.
1. Oil Change
a . Remove the oil cap and dra in the eng ine co m-
pl ete ly of o il by unscrewing t he p lu g at the
bottom
of the engine. (Fig . 6- 28, 6- 29)

b. The proper o il level is indicated by the oil
