9. AIR CLEANER CLEANING
An
air
cleaner
clogged
with
dust rest
ricts
the
free
passage
of
inlet
air
and
result in
power
loss
or
drop
in
acceleration,
therefore
,
to
assure
proper
perform-
once,
periodic
cleaning
of
the
air
cleaner
should
be
performed.

cause dust
to
enter
the

cylinder
wear.
10. CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT

The
function
of
the
clutch is
to
tran
smit
or
dis-
engage
the
rotary
power
produced
by
the
engine
to
the
transmission. If
the
gear
is
engaged
without
the
clutch
be
i
ng
completely
disengaged,
the
vehicle
will
start
moving
wi
th a
jolt
or
the
engine
will
stall
out.
On
the
othe
r hand,
if
the
clutch is slipping,
the
speed
of
the
motorc
yc
le
will
log
in
relation
to
the
engine speed.
