Disassembly
(1 l Remove the front cover.
!21 Remove the headligh t assemb ly and disconnect
all electrical leads. {Fig. 4- 3)
! 31 Uncouple the speedometer cable and disconnect
the front brake cable.
! 41 Disconnect the throttl e ca ble by re m ov ing the
carburet o r' c op and disengag e the cable end
from the throttle valve. {Fig. 4- 3)
! 51 Lo osen the two 8mm hex nuts and remove the
hand le t oget her with the cable s and ele c tri c al
l eads.
For models 550 and 565 , loo sen the four hex
bo lt s, remove the upp er h older , and then remove
the handle.
b. Inspection
(] l Ins pect the throttle, clutch and fron t broke cables
fo r d amage and br e akage on bot h th e inner
cable and oute r casing, and al so for p ro per
o peration ; appl y grease before insta llati on.
!21 Check the th ro ttle grip pipe for p rop er operation.
! 21 C h eck the hand le l evers for pr op er o pera tio n.

electrical l eads for dama ge d covering.
