The only software configuration needed is to load the PLC program (VertexM AnalogOut
Rack2.rss) into the Secondary PLC 5/03 processor. The software required to load this is
RSLogix 500 and RSLinx.
Once the PLC program has been loaded, the standard RS232 port will be configured for
communication with the Prosoft DF1 module and will not support the standard COM port
connection for programming. Any subsequent attempts to load the PLC (either to restore
factory default or load program revisions) will require following a procedure to clear the PLC
memory or communication through the DH485 port. Connecting to this port requires a special
adaptor (1747-UIC) and cable (1747-C13). Contact Honeywell Service for assistance.
8.9.4 Operational Description
The analog outputs on the secondary PLC will mirror the corresponding Fieldbus concentration
register as defined in "Data Values Common to Fieldbus Networks" on page198 in
Concentrations. This section fully describes the outputs under normal operating conditions.
The following table describes the outputs including some additional error states.
