4.6.1 Database Management-Retention Periods
Retention periods are selected as either days or weeks. Valid entries for the period are positive
numbers from 1-99. Vertex M will not recalculate the values when the unit is changed. For
example, if the purge period is 14 days and “days” to “weeks” is changed, Vertex M will set the
period to 14 weeks. Vertex M performs the record purge as the data acquisition computer clock
passes midnight.
