• Early firmware versions were not able to
use as much force to get or place media
in a magazine. Upgrading the Library
firmware might resolve this issue.
• If the error consistently happens on the
same slot, try different tape cartridges in
that slot.
• If the failure remains with the same
slot, the magazine may be at fault.
• If the failure follows the tape cart-
ridge, the tape cartridge may be at
fault.
• If the device is performing an operation
that automatically returns a tape cartridge
to a certain slot, make sure another tape
is not loaded in that slot.
• Run the wellness test
