5. Remove all the DIMMs.
6. If installed, remove all expansion boards.
Install the system board assembly
Prerequisites
Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have the following items available:
T-15 Torx screwdriver
System board assembly spare
Procedure
1. Install the components removed from the old system board on the new system board spare. This
might include one or more of the following:
DIMMs
Expansion boards
2. Slide the system board assembly into the chassis.
3. Press against the system board assembly until it clicks into place.
4. Install the system board assembly screw.
5. Connect the following system cables:
Power supply cable
Optical drive or SSD SATA cable (optional)
Install the system board assembly 69
