The new module must be installed in the same slot as the faulty module. Otherwise, the air
conditioner may fail to work properly.

Before replacing a main control module, disconnect the network cables from the main
control module.
The module can be maintained only from the rear door.

Procedure
Step 1 On the controller home screen, tap Shutdown, and turn off the air conditioner switch in the
PDC.
Exercise caution because the device is still energized after it is shut down on the controller
home screen.
Step 2 Open the rear door and remove the air filter.
Step 3 Flip the clip on the module downwards, as shown by (1) in Figure 5-51.
