Download Drive Firmware
The hard drive firmware upgrade process is disruptive and it requires that all host I/Os are
suspended for the duration of the update. Plan a production outage in advance and follow
these steps (when I/O operations are suspended) to perform the drive firmware upgrade:
1. Click Download Drive Firmware in the Download Firmware (Figure 14-60 on page 377)
menu to open the Download Drive Firmware wizard. Read the information that is displayed
on the introduction window and then click Next.

Note: The Download Drive Firmware function is also accessible from the Advanced
Maintenance Download Download Drive Firmware... menu.
