Replacing the EIA bracket
Use this information to replace the EIA bracket.
About this task
To replace the EIA bracket, complete the following steps:
Procedure
1. Read the safety information that begins on “Safety” on page vii and
“Installation guidelines” on page 122.
2. Align the EIA bracket with the pin on the chassis; then, press the bracket onto
the chassis and slightly slide it leftward.
3. Install the screws to secure the EIA bracket to the chassis.
Note: Use the T8 torx wedge to install the screws.
4. Slide the server back into the rack until it latches.
5. Reconnect the external cables and power cords, if necessary.
