5. Reinstall the hot-swap fans (see “Replacing a thermal kit (hot-swap fan)” on
page 195).
6. (Trained technician only) Install the microprocessor and heat sink (see
“Replacing a microprocessor and heat sink” on page 252).
7. Reinstall the memory modules (see “Memory module installation” on page
165).
8. Reinstall the ServeRAID SAS/SATA controller (see “Replacing a ServeRAID
SAS/SATA controller” on page 187).
9. Reconnect the cables to the system board that you disconnected in 11 on page
261.
10. Reinstall the PCI riser-card assemblies and adapters, if any were installed (see
“Replacing an adapter” on page 180 and “Replacing a PCI riser-card
assembly” on page 172).
11. Reinstall the air baffle (see “Replacing the air baffle” on page 129).
12. Reinstall the cover (see “Replacing the cover” on page 127).
13. Push the power supplies back into the server.
14. Slide the server into the rack.
15. Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
16. Turn on the peripheral devices and the server.
