• The S-meter displays received signal strength.
• The default tuning step for the AM mode is 1 kHz; this
can be changed in the tuning step program mode.

Rotate the r [AF] control to set audio to a comfort-
able listening level.
Push t [PTT] to transmit.

Speak into the microphone at your normal voice y
level.
