FUNCTIONS FOR TRANSMIT
Split frequency operation allows you to transmit and
receive in the same mode on two different frequen-
cies, in the same band. The split frequency operation
uses both VFO A and VFO B.
The transmit and receive frequencies must be in
the same band
Example: Setting 7.0620 MHz for receiving and
7.0750 MHz for transmitting.

to select VFO A.
• “VFO A” appears.
Set the frequency to 7.0620 MHz and mode to w
LSB. (pp. 3-5, 3-11)

SPLIT
to turn ON the split function.
• “ ” appears.
Hold down r

for 1 second to equalize the undis-
played VFO B frequency and operating mode with
the displayed VFO A.
Push t

to select VFO B.
• “VFO B” appears.
Set the frequency to 7.0750 MHz (LSB). (p. 3-5) y

to return to the VFO A.
Now you can receive on 7.0620 MHz and transmit i
on 7.0750 MHz.
To swap the transmit and receive frequencies, push

to toggle VFO A and VFO B.
