5.2 Settings from the Menu
E9 Turn the rotary pulse switch to edit the lens
name. Use "*" for the characters that are not to be
compared in "AUTO SEL".
"AB40X10 A" are to be compared and the following
"BCD" are not to be compared here as an example.
Editing the lens name in this way allows you to apply
the same lens le to the following two lenses.
- "AB40X10 ABCD"
- "AB40X10 AEFG"
E10 After editing the lens name, press the SET button and confirm.
The edit mode is terminated and ( ) at both ends stop ashing.
Now go to Step M3.
CAUTION:
1. The processing for "AUTO READ" is as follows:
* When a serial lens is connected
The model name of the serial lens currently connected is set for "AUTO SEL NAME".
* When no lens is connected or an analog lens is connected
The registered "AUTO SEL NAME" is retained.
2. "AUTO SEL NAME EDIT" can be set regardless of whether a lens is connected or not.
3. "AUTO SEL NAME EDIT" is a function to edit the model name read through "AUTO READ".
4. This function is not available if the model name of the target serial lens has not been obtained through "AUTO READ".
