Mounting the exhaust hose adapter on the device
• To discharge gases through a DN25 exhaust hose, mount the KF flange DN25
exhaust hose adapter supplied in the exhaust port on the rear of the device.
• Use protective gloves when mounting the exhaust hose adapter to prevent cuts.
• To seal the exhaust hose adapter, use Teflon tape. Tighten the adapter clockwise.
• If you have an exhaust hose with a hose nozzle (G ½ inch male thread), you can
alternatively fix this hose nozzle in the exhaust port by turning it clockwise.
WARNING
Danger of poisoning due to harmful gases
Depending on the connected container and the gas contained therein, harmful gases
can get into the ambient air via the exhaust filter of the leak detector.
► Make sure you have protection measure to prevent inhaling hazardous gases.
► Do not pump out toxic, corrosive, or explosive gases that create a hazard.
► Connect an exhaust hose. The exhaust gas connection must be continuously
connected to an exhaust gas system and must not be closed.
