OPERATION:
Media Guide, Bottom Assy
The bottom media assembly include the media guide sensor for printing on different media (label) width. This assembly is used
on both the PM43 and PM43c.
The assembly is secured by the bottom base print mechanism and it secure by the guide posts (2 each side of the bottom
guide) against the spine (main deck) and the inside of the bottom base print mechanism.

Bottom Dancer Media Guide Assembly Replacement
1. Remove bottom base print mechanism assembly. See Page 14&15 on how to remove the bottom base print mechanism
assembly.
2. Disconnect the media guide sensor cable P34 from main logic board (MLB) and cut the tie cable securing the cable.
3. Detach the bottom media guide assembly from the spine (main deck). It is IMPORTANT to make note of the guide posts.
See Figure 1 & Figure 2.
4. Reverse the procedure for installing replacement bottom media guide assembly.
