The ribbon supply assembly has reflective material that senses ribbon low. Ribbon low sensor assembly located behind the
ribbon supply assembly senses the reflective material and signal to the main logic board.

Ribbon Supply Assembly Replacement
1. Remove the torx screw securing the ribbon supply assembly module to the ribbon supply rod. See Figure 1 on location of
the torx screw.
2. Pull the ribbon supply assembly module away from the ribbon supply rod. It is IMPORTANT to note the position of the
ribbon supply assembly guide pin attached to the spine (main deck).
3. Reverse the instructions for re-installation.
