4 Design and Function
4.1 Bodywork
Bodywork is understood to be the exterior of the machine mounted on the chassis.
The bodywork has several functions when it is closed:

Weather protection
■ Sound insulation
■ Guarding against touching
■ Cooling air flow
Safe and reliable operation is only ensured when the bodywork is closed.

The canopy 1 can be opened when all the snap fasteners 3 and the canopy safety latch are re‐
leased.
The canopy opens independently.
Two struts maintain the opened position of the canopy.
