4.6.2.1 Option ea, ba
Machine with tool lubricator and low-temperature equipment
If the machine is equipped with the options Tool lubricator (ea) and low-temperature equipment
(ba), the tool lubricator is positioned differently from the standard position. In this case, the tool lu‐
bricator is placed between the fuel tank and the water cooler.
4.6.3 Option ba
Low temperature equipment
4.6.3.1 Frost protector
A frost protector is provided for operation in extremely low temperatures.
The frost protector guarantees machine operation at temperatures down to -13 °F.
The electrical equipment enables trouble-free engine starting at ambient temperatures down to 14
°F.

Frost protection
The frost protector comes into action when the machine is stopped in ambient temperatures below
freezing. The compressed air carries antifreeze to coat and protect airlines and valves. This pre‐
vents freezing up of control and regulating components.
The heat of the machine prevents individual control components freezing up during operation.
